SUMMARY:Quality Bone Densitometry: Performance\, Interpretation\, and Clinical Application for Clinicians (On Zoom!)
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]\nQuality Bone Densitometry: Performance\, Interpretation\, and Clinical Application for Clinicians\n\nAn Osteoporosis Essentials Course of the International Society for Clinical Densitometry & International Osteoporosis Foundation\nThe core elements of this course serve to increase the knowledge and competence of clinicians regarding bone densitometry and osteoporosis diagnosis\, clinical evaluation\, treatment\, and monitoring and to apply standard practices to assure quality performance and interpretation of bone densitometry studies. The first day sets the standard to perform quality DXA interpretation\, while the second day focuses on the clinical assessment\, prevention\, treatment and management/monitoring of osteoporosis and the essential role that high-quality DXA plays in treatment initiation decisions and monitoring of osteoporotic patients. \nPrerequisite videos are included in the registration fees. Access to that content will be made available to registrants through the ISCD Learning Center 14 days prior to the course. \nTarget Audience:\nThe course is most appropriate for those involved in the performance and interpretation of DXA scans and those managing patients with osteoporosis.  It is open to MDs\, PhDs\, DOs\, Nurse Practitioners\, and Physician Assistants.  Technologists may attend if they have previously taken the ISCD QBD for Technologists Course. \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]Course Facility[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner SUMMARY:ISCD 27th Annual Meeting
DESCRIPTION:We cordially invite you to join us for ISCD’s 27th Annual Meeting – Global Excellence Through Densitometry in the Digital Era. This will be ISCD’s first virtual conference\, but that doesn’t mean you will miss out on any of the learning or networking opportunities you have come to expect from ISCD. \nThe theme of our meeting embraces a global perspective on densitometry\, and our virtual platform will allow us to provide a truly international experience. The conference will feature live-streaming talks across time zones spanning North and South America\, Asia Pacific and Europe. Attendees will also have access to on-demand sessions available at any time from March 3-6. Participants may join live chats with renowned experts during “themed office hours” tailored to sought-after topics like FRAX\, TBS and interesting cases. And don’t forget ISCD’s networking sessions for interest groups in the areas of Pediatrics\, Rheumatology\, Radiology and more! \nThis year’s program will showcase topics that speak to ISCD’s forays into the digital era\, including osteoporosis management during the pandemic and therapies on the horizon. Demos/chat sessions with our sponsors will also grant insight into some of the most cutting-edge technologies/new developments in the field. \n[efsbutton style=”” size=”” color_class=”” align=”left” type=”link” target=”false” title=”Register Now” link=”https://my.iscd.org/Events/Calendar-Of-Events/Registration-Start?MeetingId=667e63f5-59d6-ea11-a813-000d3a191e87″] [efsbutton style=”” size=”” color_class=”” align=”left” type=”link” target=”false” title=”Visit our Annual Meeting Website” link=”https://am.iscd.org/”]
