New Membership Structure Coming Soon
Beginning January 1, 2027, rather than differentiating membership by levels of access and benefits, the new structure organizes membership by professional role while ensuring every member receives the full suite of ISCD benefits.
The new model is designed to provide full member access across all categories while aligning dues with professional role and career stage.
Why the change?
Over the past year, the ISCD Board of Directors and leadership team undertook a comprehensive strategic planning process that included reviewing membership structure, pricing benchmarks, and the long-term investments required to continue delivering value. The conclusion was clear: We need to modernize membership to make full access simpler, support long-term sustainability, and welcome the next generation of professionals into ISCD.
For the past six years, ISCD has held its membership types and rates steady even as program investment, operational costs, and the scope of member services have grown. That stability has been a point of pride, and it reflects the Board’s commitment to maintaining the value and accessibility of ISCD membership.
A meaningful access point for early-career professionals
This new early-career rate is intended to remove barriers to participation and to invite students, residents, fellows, and emerging professionals to join ISCD earlier in their professional journey. ISCD membership offers educational resources, professional connections, and certification pathways that are most valuable when accessed early.
What is NOT changing?
- Access to ISCD’s full suite of programs, benefits, and services for all members. No member category will receive a reduced benefit package under this model.
- The global community and professional connections that define ISCD
- Our commitment to high-quality education, standards, and advocacy
- The important role our members play in shaping the Society’s future
Maintenance of Certification Program (MOC)
Beginning January 1, 2027, the rates for the maintenance of certification annual dues will be:
CCD Maintenance of Certification (MOC) $150
CBDT Maintenance of Certification (MOC) $150
We recognize that any pricing change is significant, and we are grateful for the trust our members place in us. Our commitment to providing outstanding value and transparency about how and why decisions like this are made remains unchanged.
ISCD members and certified professionals will continue to receive information about the upcoming changes. Please review the Frequently Asked Questions or contact our team if you have additional questions at iscd@iscd.org.
