2023 Position Development Conference
Preparations for the 2023 ISCD Position Development Conference (PDC) are progressing, and will culminate in a day of presentations, open comment session and expert review on March 28, 2023, at the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel.
As a reminder, topics for the 2023 PDC include Trabecular Bone Score (TBS) Application and Reporting, DXA Monitoring, and DXA Reporting, as approved by the ISCD Board in March 2023 after a process of topic solicitation from the ISCD membership, Steering Committee review, Scientific Advisory Council (SAC) assessment, grading and ranking, and Executive Committee review and recommendation to the Board.
The PDC is a 12-15 month long process that generates practical advice for clinicians and researchers in the field of musculoskeletal assessment: the ISCD Official Positions.
Those interested who attend the PDC before the Annual Meeting have the opportunity to participate in open public discussion sessions. This is where you can voice your opinion on proposed positions and substantiating scientific data.
