Pacemaker

There is a pacemaker with leads seen on the Hologic spine scan. L2 is removed from analysis because the leads are overlying L2.

This is the undo view of the Hologic lumbar spine scan. This view shows that the pacer and wires are removed from the soft tissue baseline and therefore L1 is not omitted from analysis . L2 was removed because the wires were overlying L2.

Case Description:

There is a pacer with lead on the Hologic lumbar spine DXA scan. The DXA scan is on the left and the undo view is on the right. The Undo view shows that the pacer and leads are removed from the L1 soft tissue baseline. L2 is omitted because the leards are overlying L2.
