Incorrect Wrist Analysis/ Incorrect Edge Detection

This Hologic left wrist scan shows incorrect edge detection because of the presence of an artifact.

This is the corrected wrist scan with the edge detection corrected.

This is the Hologic undo view. It can be seen that the artifact is recognized by the software and would be removed from the soft tissue baseline.

Case Description:

A Hologic wrist scan analysis is presented. There was an artifact in the soft tissue lateral to the left radius. Because of the artifact, the edge detection was initially wrong. The corrected analysis is presented. The Hologic undo view is also shown, which documents that the artifact is removed from the soft tissue baseline.
